screaming

I wondered what I sounded like
screaming
God grew quite and heard
nothing
I felt like the world was water
and it was flowing all around
but I couldn't swim fast enough
and found myself drowned
in
the lake of bullshit that had been
fed to my brain since i was
old enough to know
that what i know was nothing
but its all i had to
keep on trudging on
through the world that i see
but i was always left wondering
did god grow tired of me
